EXCURSION DESCRIPTION
You will depart from the port of Los Cristianos at 8:30 AM, arriving at the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma at approximately 11:00 AM. Here, you will have free time to discover some of the island capital’s most emblematic places, such as the Barco de la Virgen, the Castillo de Santa Catalina, or the typical balconies, which are among the best preserved sets of balconies or overhangs in the Canary Islands.
The next stop is at the Mirador de la Concepción, located on the highest part of the Caldereta volcano, a designated Natural Space. Here, you can observe the crater and the capital of the “beautiful island.”
You will resume the journey towards the tunnel of time, seeing how the vegetation changes on the island, and then arrive in the southwest, entering the area affected by the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
The next stop will be in the exclusion zone of the Tacande neighborhood, where you will have a first view of the volcano. Then you will go to Tazacorte, while observing the youngest lava flows in Spain.
Lunch will take place in one of the typical restaurants in the area.
After lunch, you will go to the port of Tazacorte to see the fajana or lava delta.
Finally, you will visit the viewpoint of the Church of the Sagrada Familia in the neighborhood of Tajuya, where you will have time to observe, at a distance of approximately 2 km, the last volcano of the Canary Islands.
You will return to the port around 4:30 PM to depart at 5:00 PM and arrive at the port of Los Cristianos at 7:30 PM.

The ferry crossing lasts approximately 2:15 hours.
